Moving On Care Management Ltd. was set up in October 1999 due to a demand for the provision of flexible accommodation and support for 16-18 year olds under the care of social services.

Research demonstrates that an independence project is needed, which provides the accommodation, support, help and assistance which enables young people to live independently and maximise their opportunities. Moving On are committed to the every child matters principles.

Moving On can assist local authorities with meeting their obligations as set out in the Children Leaving Care Act, 2001. Moving On will liaise with local authorities in order to implement the young person’s pathway plan.

Our Service is committed to encouraging a healthy lifestyle through emotional and practical support, in safe accommodation with 24 hour assistance, whilst promoting education and employment to help achieve economic wellbeing.

Moving On has a proven track record of working with and engaging with challenging young people.

Moving On can consider placements throughout the UK with a team of qualified Social Workers and personnel with experience of substance misuse, counselling, Youth Offending and secure and non-secure Children’s homes.
